Based in Maharashtra, we are a registered NGO dedicated to providing non-formal education to underprivileged children who are out of school due to poverty, migration, or social barriers.
Through community learning centers, volunteer-led classes, and creative teaching methods, we offer basic literacy, life skills, and confidence to children who are often forgotten by the mainstream education system.

Success Story: Banu Mohurle – From Streets to School Desks
Location: Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
Banu Mohurle’s journey is one of resilience, hope, and transformation.
Born and raised on the streets of Gadchiroli, Banu’s childhood was marked by hardship. With no access to education and daily life focused on survival, schooling seemed like a distant dream. While other children carried schoolbags, Banu carried responsibilities beyond her years.
In 2022, SF Foundation’s outreach team met Banu during a night education drive. Curious yet shy, she started attending evening learning sessions under dim streetlights, guided by our dedicated volunteers. What began as informal learning soon turned into something bigger.
Through consistent support, Banu learned to read, write, and express herself confidently. Her love for learning blossomed. Within a year, she was ready to be enrolled into a formal school — something she once believed was only for “other kids.”
Today, Banu is in Class 4, attending school regularly and dreaming of becoming a teacher so she can help other children like her. Her story is a reminder that one opportunity can change everything.
“Education gave me wings,” Banu says with a smile.
